Digital hair analysis for hair loss
Your hair loss routine/treatment is now measurable :
Two professional hair measurements, six months apart, show EXACTLY what is happening to your hair in numbers.

Stop wasting money on ineffective hair products or treatments that do nothing for your hair.
✔ Hair quality: Insight into the structure and overall condition of your hair.
✔ Hair density: The exact measurement of the average number of hairs per square centimeter.
✔ Hair thickness: Accurate measurement of the strength and thickness of individual hair fibers.
Based on these concrete results, your hair gets exactly what it needs. This way, you invest strategically in products and treatments with real results.

✔ Hair density: The number of hairs per square centimeter (hairs/cm²), divided by the area of the zone on the head.
✔ Hair thickness/hair diameter: The exact thickness of the individual hair strands (in micrometers), which helps to see if the hair is thinning (miniaturization).
✔ Hair follicle status (follicular units): The average number of hairs that grow from one hair follicle (1-, 2-, 3-, or 4-hair follicular units).
✔ Anagen/telogen ratio (if extended): The ratio between hairs in the growth phase and hairs in the resting or shedding phase.
You will find Prohairclinic in Heist-op-den-Berg, between Mechelen and Antwerp.

Using a dermatoscope, we take a series of standardized microphotographs of your scalp at fixed measurement points.
Nothing is shaved, nothing is pricked, and you won't feel a thing.
The images go directly to AI-driven image recognition software that detects and measures every hair and follicle opening. You get pure measurement data: numbers and images, not assessments.
We review the figures together in practice and answer your questions regarding possible solutions.
What is a digital AI hair analysis?
This is how a hair analysis (trichoscopy) is performed.
The measurement
Approximately twenty minutes in practice. We record the measurement points so that later measurements use the same locations.
Please wash your scalp and hair thoroughly on the day of the treatment.
The report
After the measurement, the system automatically generates a report with your measured values by zone.
You will receive your complete report digitally, so that you always have it at hand.

Is my hair loss normal?
Everyone loses hair every day; that's normal and natural.
The question is not whether you are losing hair, but whether your hair density and thickness deviate from what is typical for your age, and whether that picture is shifting.
As long as you only look in the mirror, that remains a feeling.
A measurement turns it into a number that you can verify within 6 months.

What you know after the hair measurement
There are roughly three outcomes. The figures determine which one it is.
1. Your density is correct
What you see is more likely due to your scalp condition or finer hair. We advise you on scalp and hair care that matches your features, and the next measurement shows you how you've changed.
2. Your scalp shows through
Micro hair pigmentation doesn't add hair, but it can create the illusion of greater density.
It reduces the contrast between the scalp and hair, making transparency much less noticeable.
Based on your measurements, we will see if you are a suitable candidate for this.
3. Something for a doctor
If we observe things that we are not permitted to assess or cannot assess, we will refer you, with your report in hand, to a dermatologist or a doctor specializing in hair transplantation.
In that case, we do not offer any options.

Why choose ProHairClinic?
ProHairClinic has been active in the hair sector since 2004 and was the first clinic in Belgium to offer full-time micro hair pigmentation.
Since 2022, we have focused exclusively on micro hair pigmentation and other non-invasive hair treatments — not a clinic that does everything, but one that has mastered this craft down to the last detail.
The goal isn't for people to see that something has been done, but for your hair to look better.
Those details determine the difference between a result that stands out and a result that is correct.
