With scalp micropigmentation, we use extremely fine needles to apply microscopically small pigment dots to the scalp, precisely between your existing hairs. These dots match your hair's shade, making the translucent scalp visually disappear.

Your hair color
The pigments must match your hair color to eliminate the contrast. With very blonde, red, or gray hair, a natural color match isn't always achievable—the contrast might actually increase rather than disappear. During the consultation, we assess your exact hair shade.
Your existing hair density
Optical thickening using SMP works by filling in the spaces between your existing hairs. Therefore, there must be sufficient natural hair present to work with. If the thinning is advanced and too little hair remains, the framework that makes the pigmentation look natural is missing. With healthy remaining density, the result is often remarkably good.
