About ProHairClinic: more than 20 years of experience in hair restoration

ProHairClinic was founded in 2004 by Bart Verbeeck and Sabine Dillen.

 

From the very beginning, everything revolved around one question: how do you help people with hair loss achieve a natural result using MINIMALLY invasive techniques? We started as a clinic specializing in FUE hair transplantation. In doing so, we built years of experience in hairlines, hair density, and the needs of people struggling with hair loss.

From hair transplant to micro hair pigmentation

​

In 2010, Sabine Dillen added micro hair pigmentation (MHP, also known as SMP or hair tattooing) to our range of services. She completed training in Italy, the United Kingdom, and Belgium and became a master hair pigmentation specialist. Her 20 years as a hair transplant assistant make all the difference. She knows the natural hairline, how hair grows, and where hair loss begins.

We've seen demand for micro hair pigmentation grow every year. It is a non-surgical solution for people who are completely bald, have insufficient donor hair, or do not want surgery. In 2019, we moved to our current practice in Heist-op-den-Berg, close to Mechelen.

In 2022, Isabel Vermaelen joined the team as a hair pigmentation specialist, after 6 years of experience as a hair transplant assistant.

That same year, we made a conscious choice: we stopped performing hair transplants to dedicate ourselves entirely to micro hair pigmentation. Since then, we've done only one thing, and we do it full-time. If you're still considering a hair transplant, we are happy to refer you to experienced hair transplant surgeons in Belgium.

New from October 2026: digital hair analysis

​

To measure is to know. That is why, starting in October 2026, we are offering a digital hair analysis. Using a trichoscope (a digital scalp camera with high magnification), we objectively map your hair situation: hair density, thickness, and quality. You will receive the complete report digitally.

​

This measurement is a baseline. It gives you a starting point to see later whether you remain stable, deteriorate, or respond to treatment or a hair growth product. Based on the figures, we will discuss together which direction suits you best:

​

• micro hair pigmentation, as optical thickening or a shaved look ;

• customized scalp and hair care;

• A referral to a dermatologist or a hair transplant specialist.

​

The hair analysis provides measurement data and is not a medical diagnosis. For medical questions regarding the cause of your hair loss, we always refer you to a doctor.
