In women's hair loss, the hair often thins diffusely across the crown and the top. Pigmentation reduces the contrast across that entire zone, making the overall appearance denser.
Visible scalp with a ponytail or updo
Do you often wear your hair in a ponytail or bun? Then the scalp around the hairline and on the sides becomes extra visible. Targeted pigmentation in those zones allows you to put your hair up again without hesitation.

We are deliberately honest about this because, with optical densification, the initial situation largely determines the final result. Two factors carry the most weight.
Your hair color
The pigments must match your hair color to eliminate the contrast. With very blonde, red, or gray hair, a natural color match isn't always achievable—the contrast might actually increase rather than disappear. During the consultation, we assess your exact hair shade.
Your existing hair density
Optical thickening works by filling in the spaces between your existing hairs. Therefore, there must be sufficient natural hair present to work with. If the thinning is advanced and too little hair remains, the framework within which the pigmentation looks natural is missing. With a healthy remaining density, on the other hand, the result is often remarkably good.
