General terms and conditions
Micro Hair Pigmentation (MHP) - GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Applicability
1.1. These general terms and conditions apply to all agreements between Prohairclinic and the client, where the former acts as seller and/or supplier of products and/or services.
These terms and conditions can only be deviated from in writing and with the express permission of Prohairclinic. The delivery of products and/or services includes, among other things, the application of a cosmetic tattoo (hair pigmentation, tricopigmentation, SMP, MHP).
2. Liability
2.1. All services requested by the client are provided under the client's own responsibility and entirely at the client's own risk.
2.2. The client declares that he/she has reached the age of 18.
2.3. The client declares that he/she has made a well-considered decision to have hair pigmentation performed.
2.4. The services provided by Prohairclinic in the context of hair pigmentation are always a best efforts obligation. Therefore, Prohairclinic can never guarantee that the intended result will actually be achieved. Therefore, Prohairclinic is not liable for the failure to achieve the intended result, or for any damage that may result from the treatment, except in cases of gross negligence or intent.
2.5. If Prohairclinic is found liable for any damage suffered by the client, the compensation may never exceed the amount invoiced for the assignment in question.
3. Information about hair pigmentation
3.1. Hair pigmentation is a non-surgical procedure using the most modern and advanced cosmetic tattooing techniques to create the appearance of thicker hair. During the treatment, you may experience mild to moderate pain; discomfort disappears almost immediately afterward, or at the latest a few days later. Unlike a "classic" tattoo, trico pigmentation will fade over time and eventually disappear. This is due to the use of organic ink, which is hypoallergenic but biodegradable. MHP hair pigmentation, on the other hand, is long-lasting and may even be permanent. The needles used are ultra-fine, and the pigments are injected only into the upper layers of the skin (dermis). Slight discoloration due to the effects of natural UV rays is possible, but rare.
4. Future touch-up follow-up treatments
A touch-up or follow-up treatment is not included. The rate for a touch-up treatment is
– see website
- per hour started or the applicable rates at that time.
Please note: a touch up treatment is 1 session, or 1 single treatment
5. Applicable law and competent court - image material
5.1. In the event of a dispute, Belgian law applies and only the courts of Antwerp have jurisdiction.
5.2. Photos and images may be taken and used unrecognizably for any purpose.
6. Included in the initial start-up treatment rate (3 sessions)
· 2 full treatments/sessions with a maximum of 7 days between the two sessions. (Deviations are only possible with written approval from Prohairclinic).
· 1 correction session if necessary, at the latest 45 days after the 2nd day of treatment.
7. Compliance with aftercare
Prohairclinic is not responsible or liable for the results if the aftercare instructions are not followed. Failure to follow these instructions, or only partially, may cause the pigments to disappear or discolor.
8. Appointments and cancellations
We will notify you by email of the date and time of your appointment. After receiving this notification, you must confirm your appointment by sending the requested deposit (by email) within 10 days (deposits are always non-refundable).
Failure to do so may result in the appointment time being reallocated to another client.
Cancellation or change of treatment date is not possible on the client's behalf, and the deposit is non-transferable and non-refundable. All practitioners at Prohairclinic are trained and approved in accordance with the company's protocols. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that you will always have the same practitioner for your subsequent appointments.
Late arrival may result in reduced treatment time or forfeiture of the appointment.
Touch-up fees always start at the reserved time, regardless of whether the client arrives on time. Prohairclinic will make every effort to ensure your appointment can begin on time, but for reasons beyond our control, we may have to cancel or postpone your appointment at short notice. In that unlikely event, we will do everything we can to notify you in advance.
We do not offer any compensation if your appointment is cancelled due to circumstances at Prohairclinic.
9. Offer Validity:
30 days after issue (even when communicated verbally during an intake)
10. Result – guarantee
We use 2-3 treatments to achieve the most beautiful final result. Within these 2-3 treatments, we adjust any light spots and assess whether the pigment density is high enough to achieve the desired result. Prohairclinic aims to ensure that you complete the treatment feeling satisfied.
Unfortunately, every skin type is different, and it may be necessary to schedule an additional treatment. For these treatments within the area already treated (always within two months), a different rate will be charged.
For adjustments outside the treated area, the full hourly rate of ' see website' will be charged per hour.
If you are using alcohol-based lotions, shampoos, or minoxidil, discontinue use two weeks prior to treatment. Alcohol/ethanol-based scalp products should also be discontinued after treatment.
I acknowledge that I am aware of the nature of the MHP treatment.
This is a long-term change to my appearance, and there is no complete guarantee that the marks can be successfully changed or removed at a later date. I understand that the effectiveness of the MHP treatment varies from person to person, and I understand that a very small percentage of clients do not respond well to the treatment, and that this small chance also applies in my case.
