The average man/woman has 30,000-50,000 hairs from the hairline to the crown. Using a wafer-thin needle (approximately 0.15-0.20 mm in diameter), tens of thousands of microscopic pigment dots are injected into the upper layer of the dermis.
This is done in several sessions (usually 3) to slowly increase the intensity and also to maintain control over the optical effect.
