FUT and FUE hair transplant scar camouflage
Are you bothered by visible FUE scars in the donor area after a hair transplant?
Is there an unsightly scar visible after a FUE hair transplant?

Want to make scars from hair transplantation less visible?
Optical camouflage of scar tissue
Scars from hair transplants are often noticeable because they are lighter in color than the surrounding skin and lack hair growth. By adding pigment dots, or virtual hair stubble, to the scar, the color difference between the skin and the hair is minimized, making the scar less visible to the naked eye .
Possibility of a shorter haircut
Many people with hair transplant scars are hesitant to shave their hair short (the so-called "shaven look") because the scar is immediately visible. Micro hair pigmentation fills in the bald spots in the scar with "stubble," allowing you to wear your hair shorter without anyone seeing where the procedure took place.
Improvement of the overall density
Sometimes the donor area (the back of the head) has become too thin after FUE treatment (overharvesting).
How does it work?
Color correction of the scar tissue
Scars are often lighter (hypopigmentation) or redder than the surrounding skin, making them very noticeable. With micro hair pigmentation, a specific pigment is chosen that mimics the color of your natural hair stubble.
By applying this pigment to the scar, the color difference between the white/red scar and the surrounding skin is reduced. The scar essentially "blends" with the rest of the scalp.
Breaking through the scar structure
A scar is often noticeable by its straight shape: a long line with FUT or a pattern of white dots with FUE .
With FUT: Our specialist places pigment dots across and over the edges of the scar line. This visually "breaks" the hard, straight line.

Other special features of micro hair pigmentation
Ultimate ease of use (Low Maintenance)
Unlike hairpieces, toupees or styling the remaining hair strands, micro hair pigmentation does not require regular maintenance .
You no longer need to comb or use products; simply shaving your remaining hair regularly is enough to keep the look sleek.
Every 3-5 years a small touch-up treatment is necessary (usually 2 hours of work).

Weather and sports resistant
With micro hair pigmentation you never have to worry about rain, wind or sweat.
The pigment is in the skin, so it does not run or shift.
This gives enormous freedom and self-confidence during active activities.

Why choose optical hair thickening for hair loss or as thickening after a hair transplant?
Fast results: The contrast between your scalp and hair disappears, giving you the appearance of much fuller hair. The final result is typically achieved after three treatments within a month.
No hassle with powders: It works like a permanent hair powder (like Toppik), but without the risk of transferring or washing out while swimming or exercising.
Natural effect: The pigments are precisely matched to your own hair color for an invisible transition.
Example of optical hair thickening for men
This method is perfect for both men and women with a thinning crown, a wide parting or general hair loss.
It's a safe, non-surgical way to boost your confidence.

Scar Camouflage
Example of optical scar camouflage after hair transplantation (FUT or FUE method)
Why choose scar camouflage?
Wear your hair shorter: No more fear of others seeing your scars at the hairdresser or in the pool.
Natural result: We match the colour of the pigment exactly to your own hair stubble.
The finishing touch: Make the result of your hair transplant truly complete by camouflaging any visible scars.
It is a quick and effective way to remove that last bit of insecurity and get back to living your life with confidence.

With FUT: Our specialist places pigment dots across and over the edges of the scar line. This visually "breaks" the hard, straight line.
With FUE: The white dots are individually filled with pigment, eliminating the "Swiss cheese" structure in the donor area. This ensures that the human eye no longer recognizes any abnormal pattern.
Adaptation to skin texture
Scar tissue is more compact and stiffer than normal skin, or sometimes softer (atrophic).
The specialist adjusts the depth of the needle and the pressure to the thickness of the scar.
A layered approach (spread over 2 to 4 sessions) is often used. Because scar tissue retains pigment less evenly than healthy skin, this gradual approach prevents the spots from bleeding and ensures optimal coverage.
Please note: A scar must be completely healed before micro hair pigmentation can be applied.
Usually a waiting period of 6 to 12 months after the hair transplant is recommended.
