• 2 sterile cloths.

Medication
• Ibuprofen: Painkiller, to be used according to pain experience, maximum 2 per day
• Dafalgan (paracetamol): Painkiller, to be used according to pain experience, maximum 4 per day
• Antibiotics (Azithromycin): 2 consecutive days after treatment, 1 tablet per day
• Medrol: 2 consecutive days after treatment, 1 tablet per day

PHC LOTION: Spray 10 times a day on the implantation area as well as the donor area. Continue to use daily until used up. You may clean scabs / blood scraps in the donor area with a wet cloth the day after the treatment. Small walks are allowed, this will make any facial swellings disappear faster. |
You must not wash or touch implantation area under any circumstances. Do not exert heavy physical exertion. Avoid direct sun on the implantation area until the skin returns to its normal color and structure (this can take up to 6 months) |

Day 7-10 |
OBLIGATED: Take a shower or bath and let warm water flow over your head for 25-30 minutes. Then wash your hair with the PHC shampoo. You will notice that the scabs come off more easily. You may rub firmly, but not scratch. You will probably not get all the scabs away after the first wash, then try again and again the next day until all scabs are gone. |

Send us some images of the donor and implantation area by email. Please take photos 1 meter away, no selfies please. |

Day 14 |
Apply make-up to camouflage pinkish skin color is allowed Start-up Lotion Minoxidil / Finasteride. Use once a day in the evening. Apply 1-2 ml and massage well over implantation area + possibly other balding areas. You must use this lotion for at least 12 months. Order the lotion on time before being used up. This lotion is particularly effective and strengthens all hairs. If you no longer use this lotion daily, the hair loss of the non-grafts will start again after a few weeks / months. |

Sport |
Non-contact sports are allowed after 2 weeks (cycling, jogging, etc.) Swimming in the sea or in freshwater is permitted provided that you wear sun protection after 2 weeks. |

General information
Sleep
If possible, sleep in a 10-degree position for the first few days by using your pillows. This will reduce the swellings faster. However, this sleep position is not mandatory.
Swelling
1-3 days after treatment with medium to strong facial swelling.
These swellings are not painful but cause aesthetic discomfort. The swellings last up to 10 days. Daily short walks will reduce the swelling faster.
Discoloration - unevenness in the implantation area
A strong to medium redness will occur in the implantation area during the first 14 days.
This discoloration will decrease after a few weeks. However, it can take 2-6 months before the skin is fully recovered and happy again.
Donor area irritation / pain
The donor area may be sensitive during the first 1-3 weeks, usually at bedtime.
This can be done with severe itching and / or stabbing pain. Especially last at bedtime.
Tip: take a painkiller about an hour before bed time.
Cooling the donor area with a cold cloth can also reduce itching / irritation.
Note: If the pain is particularly strong and the area feels very warm then your doctor must visit and report to us.
Falling out of the transplanted grafts
After a period of 2-3 weeks, the grafts will fall out, sometimes connected to a small yellow or whitish bag. Rest assured, this is only the hair and not the hair root.
Should a hair root come loose, then this is always accompanied by bleeding.
Regrowth
3-6 months after the treatment you will see small black dots appear just below the scalp.
First the hairs are very fine and grow slowly. It can take up to a year for your hair to maintain its normal strength and caliber.
Most patient experience a visible and strong improvement after about 5-6 months.
Less feeling in the implantation area of donor area
It is possible that some places on the head are numb.
Conversely, it is also possible that there are places that are more sensitive.
These ‘complaints’ will be gone after 3 to 12 months
